A Conversation with Nick Walker

Last August, the California Institute of Integral Studies brought together neurodiversity scholar Dr. Nick Walker and Unrestricted Interest’s Chris Martin for a conversation about writing, teaching, and neurodivergence. Nick Walker’s work has been important to neurodiverse communities in general and Unrestricted Interest in particular, helping to articulate terms and practices around neurodivergent and neuroqueer lives that have become stabilizing positions from which to grow and find further expression. Her work brings the history of neurodivergent self-definition to light and we couldn’t recommend her book, Neuroqueer Heresies, more strongly.
