We come to you this week with our very first serial offering. These are the first two sections of a long poem called “breezes” by Nadia Sohn Fink. More sections will follow in the coming weeks. Here is Nadia’s introduction:
"Drew from held notes shushed moments sewn together Drew cycles sedimented up in drafts of pasts Drew hurled leaf Hurled down for fun for readiness Cut up good piles of still purpose Cut through with ready breezes"
1 Leaf teams sailing Encased light deals openly Belief wrote such weather Cast such Chilling effort pleads red Certain overtones frozen midair Just elsewhere simply Cast playing animal parts Minted momentarily Meeting dr day Less work, more day Feelings slip under dawn’s red door To whose morning? 2 Deal extra stars when reading cards Weather wakes up to the sameday as you Other sworn reds that show through enter tips of March Maples cut diagons of sky Stars walk your red eye down Dawn’s red door Down a went way Telling the setting in stolen sayings Say upon a time Say inside a house Say inside a room What fine day lets you say rather What fine day What a fine day.
Nadia Sohn Fink enters into the letter writing realm the same as poetry. These short pieces are sent in both spirits.
The introduction and poem pieces are gorgeous.
Beautiful!
