This week’s poem comes from Geo Nelson, who offers: “This answers the returning question of humankind: The wondering - in reality - can I live a real life now?”
Ordinary Day Here
Enough light
For all of our eyes
Teeming in the depths
Over! Gone.
Let’s yell the light
It's never good, mighty solid sounds
In the deep everdiving to the almost there
Is enough light balled within?
Misting near
Living ordinary homes
Ambient and illumined
It nestles
Entering nerves
Come, go, please
Into my home of light
See a low candle
Nile of fertile wax
My name is Geo Nelson
Established 2013
I’ve got mystery, intrigue, and deprecating humor
Unedited around friends
These words become notes inside me
Like notes in a song
Leading across this noisy internal land
Geo over and out
And I have an image of a smile that never ceases with the remembering of it as it shines in other one’s other corners and ignites a deep synaptic embrace near the heart.
