This week’s poem comes from Joel Nyland.
SUCKING FACE IN THE PARK TWO PEOPLE ONE SHORELINE TONGUES INTERTWINED DO THEY SEE THE GEESE WATCHING THEM? DO THEY SMELL THE DEAD SALMON? DO THEY SEE THE HIKERS PASSING BY? SO INTENSE ARE THEY WITH EACH OTHER NO ROOM FOR OUTSIDE BEAUTY THE SUNS RAYS THROUGH THE LEAVES GO UNNOTICED THE SOUND OF THE BUSY WOODPECKER UNHEARD THE CRUNCH OF FALL LEAVES UNDERFOOT DOESN'T BREAK THEIR SPELL SMOOCH SMOOCH SMOOCH
